Country Western Theme Party

At Struan Lodge, we organised a country western theme party for the residents and had an entertainer sing the 50s and 60s country music. The chef prepared an exotic meal matching our party theme. We also had residents' families coming in to join us for the event. Everybody had a great fun-filled afternoon singing, dancing, and enjoying the music.

We have been planning a themed, fun and entertaining party for Struan Lodge Care Home in Edinburgh to add some colour to this month. After discussions, we ended up doing a cowboy-themed party which included all sorts of entertainment for the residents including a country singer who performed lots of great songs and residents couldn't help but tap their feet or get up and dance. We had a tasty barbecue feast incorporated with a country western flavour.

The residents had a fun-filled day getting involved in the party and singing their favourite country songs. They enjoyed quality time spending time with their family and other residents. This party evoked all of their senses both physically and mentally.

We look forward to planning the next themed party for our residents as a way for them to socialise with others, have new experiences and create cherished memories.
