Birthday Celebrations

In January, 2024 one of our lovely residents had a 94th birthday!

Ann turned 94 in January and we thought this would be a great opportunity to hold a birthday celebration for her; it was a truly heartwarming experience for all residents and staff.

It involved reminiscing on old memories, sharing them with one another and we all wrote her a card filled with birthday wishes and love. Ann celebrated by a cake cutting ceremony and everyone gathered for singing and dancing afterwards. This special celebration made Ann feel so loved and appreciated.

This celebration not only helped Ann, but it also contributed to the mental and emotional wellbeing of all of our other residents here at Struan Lodge Care Home in Edinburgh. We love celebrating birthdays, it creates a positive and joyful atmosphere bringing a sense of happiness within our residents.
